Is it possible to make $500 a Week on Clickbank As An Affiliate starting from scratch without spending a fortune on paid ads? That, dear reader, is what we are about to find out because in this post I am setting the scene for a real life case study where I start from scratch to set towards and achieve the goal of making $500 a week with affiliate marketing. The case study ends when this amount has been achieved for 4 weeks in a row.
Action Steps For Anyone Reading This That Wants To Follow Along & Earn While They Learn
Step #1: Enter your email at 3 Steps To Building An Affiliate Marketing Empire HERE (so you don’t miss anything)
Step #2: Bookmark this site and check back every week for the LATEST update, insights and results
Step #3: Leave a comment so I don’t think I’m talking to myself. The mirror is great but it’s when the reflection starts answering back that you have to worry
Step #4: Take ACTION on what I’m telling you. Despite what many people think, “The Secret” isn’t sitting back and waiting for money to land in your lap. You have to start doing the right things consistently to make money start rolling in.
Step #5: Be prepared to invest a bit of cash in yourself and your education because once you know all this stuff you will never be left scratching your head wondering how other people are making an income online (don’t be like Scrooge hoarding all your money and never investing in tools, services and education that you ACTUALLY NEED to succeed).
Before I begin I just want to be clear that my results are exactly that – my results. This case study is for entertainment and education purposes only (see end of post disclaimer for full clarification).
How long exactly this will take will become clearer as I extrapolate results over time. To achieve this goal I will spend some money on advertising/tools/services (etc) but I won’t be going crazy unless the ROI is a no-brainer. This case study is not about pouring tons of money into native ads until you get profitable campaigns, this one is for the people who want to make a growing income without breaking the bank.
If you’re going to follow along with this and you missed my action steps above, I also recommend you check out the 3 Steps to Building An Affiliate Marketing Empire HERE because I will be revealing further ‘behind the scenes’ insights solely to people on that list and nowhere else (including the tools/services I am using to generate traffic and sales).
Don’t moan at me in the comments that I’m missing out key details if you’re not on that list (I will just refer you back this post ;-))
So for the sake of full transparency and disclosure I started this ‘case study’ on the 13th January and got my first sale that day. I wasn’t expecting a sale the very first day, but it’s always nice when it happens. The sale came in the form of a trial which rebilled 3 days later, so that’s why you can’t see the sale income on the very first day as there was a delay before the customer was actually charged.
I’m classing week one as my results from 16th to the 22nd January which are as follows:
In total I made 3 sales in Week 1 of this case study period so I’m off to a pretty good start as these are all recurring billing products, which means that unless the customer cancels before the next rebill I could have $59.33 come in again next month from those sales.
Remember, I am doing this without paying out for expensive PPC ads (etc) but I have been promoting daily. Consistency is something that is necessary in order to be successful especially at the beginning because you need to build up momentum. Once you have momentum it’s advisable to keep your pedal to the metal and not to rest on your laurels, but you can afford to go on holiday or be ill (for a short period), not do any work at that point and you will still (probably) get results due to your previous efforts (just never become complacent because lack of action is a results killer).
The neat thing is that this can be done in 20-30 minutes or so per day if you focus on getting the income producing activities done and skip checking out the cat videos on YouTuber part 😉
Summary of Week 1:
Goal: $500 A Week As A Clickbank Affiliate
Results: $59.33 Total Commissions
Sales: 3
How Far Away From $500 Week Goal In Week 1? $500-$59.33 = $440.67
I will post another update for week 2 on this blog on the 30th January and weekly thereafter. This case study will end when we achieve $500+ for 4 weeks in a row so bookmark this blog and check back for progress updates on a weekly basis if you’re interested.
You are welcome to follow along. If you want further insights of what I’m doing you can check out my 3 Steps To Building An Affiliate Empire here. Get on that list and you won’t miss anything.
Insights/Lessons Learned: To get momentum from scratch I already know that I have to promote and take action daily. You have to show up and make it as regular as brushing your teeth, even if you only have 20 minutes a day to spare (you’ll be surprised what you can do in 20 minutes if you really focus).
Success leaves clues. What do I mean by that? Well, in week 1 I have 3 sales. I am tracking everything so I know where the sales are coming from. More on why that is so useful in future updates.
All That’s Cool, Dean, But Where Did The Sales Come From Exactly?
With regard to what I’m promoting to earn affiliate commissions, if you join the service through me that I’m recommending in Step 3 (you’ll know what Step 3 is if you join my list above), just get in touch with your purchase receipt via my contact form on this blog and I’ll fill you in so you can copy what I’m doing if you wish in terms of the products I’m promoting.
This case study is free so I’m obviously not going to reveal absolutely everything unless you have some skin in the game.

Disclaimer: The earnings and results mentioned in this case study are not typical and are based on my own experience and efforts. Your results may vary depending on factors such as your skills, work ethic, and market conditions. Affiliate marketing involves risk, and there are no guarantees of income.
This is nothing to do with politics as I know “The Donald” is in this video below but I used to love (still do) the theme song for Apprentice USA. Seeing as we’re talking about making money with affiliate marketing in week 1, that’s what todays ‘tune’ is on the old blog turntable:
