I understand the need to keep the spam/bots out but these Captcha verifications where you have to click on tiles of a picture endlessly are driving me mad. You know, the ones that look like this:
“Keep Clicking On These Pictures If You Want To Give Up On Living” – should be the caption next to them.
It wouldn’t be so bad if you only ever had to click one or two of these pictures to verify you are indeed a human but the fact of the matter is that you sometimes have to go through umpteen of these pictures just to prove you are worthy of logging into a site.
It’s an absolute joke. I will never put such a ridiculous captcha on this blog or on any of my sites. People putting these on their site are losing sight of what is important – the visitor/member of their site.
Earlier I just didn’t have the time to access one site because of this long-winded verification.
I hate them with a passion and all I can say is that there must be a better way than driving your visitors absolutely loco.
If you own a site and you insist on using this Captcha method you might as well have Insane In The Brain by Cypress Hill playing to your visitor at the same time.
In fact, that would make the process at least 10% more enjoyable. I have never been so sick of motorcycles, buses, fire hydrants and bicycles in my life 🙂 Don’t you know I’m loco…
